Planes Are Falling Out of the Sky
Since Donald Trump has taken office, he bragged that he fired or suspended dozens of people at the FAA.
Air traffic controllers have been understaffed for years. Why is he gutting an agency that is already understaffed and in need highly qualified people? It might have something to do with the fact that the FAA is fining SpaceX $633K for multiple violations in 2023.
Crash #1
Yesterday a Black Hawk helicopter collided with an American Airlines plane, sending both into the Potomac River. 67 souls lost.
Trump immediately blamed the crash on DEI.

His supporters spread the lie that the pilot was a transwoman.

When that was shown to be a lie, they then said the pilot was a woman (DEI!!) with less than 500 flight hours. According to NPR, there were three crew members: 2 male, 1 female. It’s not yet clear which one was the primary pilot that night.
The pilot was a white man with over 1000 flight hours.
Crazies are Flying the Planes
Trump also implied in a press briefing that as a result of DEI practices, the FAA employs many inexperienced, unqualified, and mentally ill persons as air traffic controllers and pilots.
You’d think that if this were true, then he would immediately ground all air traffic in the United States.
So then we have Peter Doocy push back on that claim, “Given DEI hires, it’s not safe to fly commercially, is it?”

Today, a medical transport jet crashed in Northeast Philadelphia, shortly after takeoff
While news of the latest crash was spreading through social media, Trump was on Truth Social hawking his meme coin scam.

Tariffs
Trump’s first round of tariffs are scheduled to start on Saturday.
Trump is putting a 25% tariff on Mexico and Canada. In retaliation, they have threatened to tariff us right back. Trump is also hitting China with a 10% duty for “illegal fentanyl” they distribute in our country.
I thought all caravans of migrants at the border were bringing the fentanyl?

Condoms
Trump’s new press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, claimed the US was sending $50 million condoms to Gaza. Trump then repeated the story. It was a lie.
California’s Water
Trump claimed on Truth that he sent the military into California to “turn on the water”.
